-10.20%
Gapping down after its Q1 2026 earnings report. Revenue of $12.25 billion beat estimates of $12.17 billion and represented 16% year-over-year growth. The company posted earnings of $1.23 per share, an 86% year-over-year improvement, which was attributed in part to the termination fee paid by Warner Bros Discovery after the companies’ merger fell through. Netflix projected Q2 2026 revenue of $12.57 billion and EPS of $0.78, missing estimates of $12.63 billion and $0.84, respectively. Separately, the company announced that co-founder and board chairman Reed Hastings will be leaving the board when his term ends in June 2026.
Tesla Inc (TSLA)

Job postings on the company’s website indicate that Tesla is hiring semiconductor engineers in Taiwan for its Terafab AI chip complex. The Terafab facility is expected to develop a range of chips such as edge AI processors, space-grade semiconductors for satellites, and high-bandwidth memory. Separately, Bloomberg reported that SpaceX has accelerated the vesting date for employee shares to as early as next week, signaling its IPO timeline may be moving faster than expected.
Apple Inc (AAPL)
