The company announced that it will invest $5B in Anthropic upfront, with up to $20B more tied to commercial milestones. In return, Anthropic plans to spend over $100B on AWS over the next decade and secure up to 5 GW of Amazon Trainium capacity to support its AI workloads.
UnitedHealth Group Inc (UNH)
+7.12%
Gapping up after its Q1 2026 earnings report, with revenue of $111.72 billion and adjusted EPS of $7.23 beating estimates of $109.66 billion and $6.61, respectively. Medical cost ratio was reported at 83.9%. On watch as a group amid growing uncertainty over whether a second round of talks between the United States and Iran will proceed. Iranian officials rejected the idea of negotiating under threat, while US President Donald Trump warned of potential military escalation if no deal is reached before the ceasefire deadline. Early on Tuesday morning, Trump posted on Truth Social that Iran has “violated the ceasefire numerous times”.
USO, XOM, OXY, DVN, COP, RE, TPET, BATL, EONR
Intel Corp (INTC)
+2.04%
Trading higher premarket after HSBC upgraded the stock to Buy and raised its price target to $95 from $50, citing strong upside driven primarily by its core business. The firm emphasized server CPU growth and pricing power as key catalysts, while excluding the foundry segment from valuation due to uncertainty around external customer demand.
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
+0.68%
BofA weighed in on the stock ahead of the company’s earnings report on Wednesday after the bell. The analyst believes that Tesla is just beginning to monetize its autonomy capabilities, with robotaxis representing a major embedded long-term opportunity. BofA views autonomous vehicles as a transformative force in “Auto 2.0,” driven by improved safety, time savings, and expanded access to transportation.
Hertz and Avis
+4.53%
Both of these rental car company stocks are continuing to trade higher in what has been widely considered a short squeeze. The rally, which began in late March, was initially attributed in part to a shift towards car rentals amid slowing airport lines in the US. Hertz has a short float of approximately 21%; Avis has a short float of approximately 26%.
HTZ, CAR
3M Co (MMM)
-1.82%
Trading lower premarket after its Q1 2026 earnings report. Revenue of $6 billion narrowly missed estimates of $6.01 billion, though adjusted earnings of $2.14 per share beat estimates of $1.98 and represented 14% year-over-year growth. Adjusted operating margin improved by 30 basis points year-over-year to 23.8%. For FY 2026, 3M guided adjusted earnings of $8.50-$8.70 per share, compared to estimates of $8.65.
Reddit Inc (RDDT)
+1.26%
Trading marginally higher premarket after DA Davidson initiated coverage of the stock with a Buy rating and $200 price target, arguing the platform remains significantly under-monetized compared to peers. The firm believes Reddit’s human-driven content and growing scale will support continued user and advertiser growth, while boosting LLM-related revenue, ad demand, and operating leverage.
RTX Corp (RTX)
+2.66%
Trading higher premarket following its Q1 2026 earnings report, with revenue of $22.1 billion and adjusted earnings of $1.78 per share beating estimates of $21.4 billion and $1.51, respectively. Organic sales grew by 10%, and the company’s backlog reached $271 billion. The company reported year-over-year growth in revenue and profit across its Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon divisions. RTX guided revenue between $92.5 billion and $93.5 billion for FY 2026, compared to estimates of $93.5 billion; the midpoint of its adjusted EPS outlook for the same period similarly missed estimates.
Astera Labs Inc (ALAB)
+8.19%
Trading sharply higher premarket in a move that has been attributed to excitement over the newly-announced deal between Amazon and Anthropic. RBC raised its price target on the stock to $250 following the announcement, highlighting Amazon’s Trainium3 as a key catalyst for Scorpio-X switch revenue beginning in the second half of 2026. The firm projects Scorpio switch revenue to grow from $130M in 2025 to $390M in 2026, with additional upside if Scorpio-X pricing per XPU increases by a few hundred dollars.
Tractor Supply Co (TSCO)
-5.69%
Gapping down after its Q1 2026 earnings report. The company reported revenue of $3.59 billion and earnings of $0.31 per share, missing estimates of $3.63 billion and $0.34, respectively. For FY 2026, Tractor Supply Co guided earnings of $2.13-$2.23 per share, compared to estimates of $2.17.
Beyond Meat Inc (BYND)
+24.57%
Gapping up following a strong performance on Monday.
