Big Tech and Semiconductors

-3.24%

Continuing to trade lower as a group after last week’s market-wide selloff, driven by President Donald Trump’s announcement of sweeping reciprocal tariffs. Wedbush analyst Dan Ives warned the tariffs could devastate the U.S. tech sector, potentially setting it back a decade while giving China a competitive edge. Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was similarly cautious and highlighted a serious near-term risks to semiconductor stocks, noting that even Apple’s $500 billion U.S. investment failed to earn it a tariff exemption.

Tesla Inc (TSLA)

-5.20%

Wedbush cut its price target for the stock from $550 to $315, citing a full-blown brand crisis driven by CEO Elon Musk's political image and concerns about cost and demand issues driven by newly-announced tariffs. Despite maintaining an Outperform rating and long-term optimism, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives warned Tesla is at a pivotal crossroads, estimating it has lost at least 10% of its future global customer base due to self-inflicted issues.

Meta Platforms Inc (META)

-2.92%

The company unveiled its latest open-source AI models, Llama 4 Scout and Maverick, featuring a new mixture-of-experts architecture and available for use via Meta’s apps and website. While the most powerful version, Llama 4 Behemoth, is still in training, Meta claims these models outperform competitors and mark a significant step in its push to lead and open-source the AI space.

Apple Inc (AAPL)

-3.70%

Continuing to trade lower premarket after losing more than $533 billion in market capitalization between Thursday and Friday’s trading sessions, according to CNBC. The company is likely to be more impacted by President Trump’s tariff announcement than its Mag 7 peers due to its supply chain reliance and recent diversification. US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick chimed in during an interview on Saturday, saying that Apple may begin manufacturing iPhones in the U.S. as Trump’s tariffs aim to bring production back home.

Banks and Fintech Stocks

-2.94%

Continuing to trade lower as a group following President Trump’s tariff announcement on April 2. Goldman Sachs raised its U.S. recession forecast to 45% amid tightening financial conditions and rising policy uncertainty, up from 35% just a month ago. This follows JPMorgan’s move last week, which pegged global recession odds at 60%. Several financial institutions, including JPMorgan and Wells Fargo, are scheduled to report earnings before the bell on Friday, April 11.

Chinese ADRs

-7.31%

Gapping down as a group following a weak overseas trading session on Monday. The tech-heavy Hang Seng Index closed more than 13% lower for its worst single session since 1997. The drop has been attributed to concerns about new tariff policies in the US, with China announcing its own 34% reciprocal tariffs on US goods as of Friday. Additionally, China’s President Xi encouraged the people of China to help boost consumption in the country.

DraftKings Inc (DKNG)

-3.63%

On watch after Needham reaffirmed its Buy rating and $65 price target for the stock. The analyst lowered its Q1 adjusted EBITDA estimate by $70 million due to unfavorable March Madness outcomes outweighing Super Bowl gains. Needham views the stock’s recent 15% decline as a long-term buying opportunity despite persistent headwinds, believing some risks are overstated or manageable.

Bluejay Diagnostics Inc (BJDX)

+162.32%

Gapping up on no apparent news catalyst. The stock has a $5.18 million market capitalization and a float of 442,280 shares.
