Trading lower as a pair after the Financial Times reported that both companies have agreed to give the US government 15% of revenue from sales of advanced chips to China. The US recently allowed Nvidia to resume shipments of its H20 AI chips despite an earlier sales halt. Meanwhile, Chinese state-linked media claimed the H20 chips pose security risks, citing concerns about potential backdoor access.

Trading sharply higher as a group in tandem with Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency surged as high as $122,300 early on Monday morning - within $1,000 of its all-time high of $123,200 - before pulling back near the $120,800 level. Ethereum is near a local high of $4,200 following a strong push on Saturday, though it is currently red on the session.

Many tickers in the sector are gapping up after the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday evening that President Donald Trump is considering reclassifying marijuana as a less dangerous Schedule III drug. This move would ease restrictions, enable tax breaks for cannabis companies, and expand medical research. The proposal reportedly gained traction after marijuana industry leaders, including Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers, lobbied Trump directly at a recent fundraiser.

Trading sharply higher premarket after updating its guidance for Q4. The company its now guiding adjusted earnings between $2.78 and $2.92 per share, up from its prior guide of $2.35 to $2.65 per share. Micron also raised its revenue guidance for the quarter from $10.4 billion-$11 billion to $11.1 billion-$11.3 billion. The company attributed the revised guidance to “improved pricing, particularly and DRAM, and strong execution”.

Gapping down after providing weaker-than-expected preliminary earnings for Q1 2026. The company guided preliminary revenue between $70.2 million and $70.4 million for the quarter, well below their previous guidance of $100 million-$109 million and marking a 19% decline from revenue of $87.2 million for Q1 2025. CEO Tom Siebel derided the company’s “completely unacceptable” sales for Q1 2026 and attributed the results to short-term disruption related to C3.ai’s reorganization efforts this quarter.

CnEVPost reported that sales of the company’s Model Y and Model 3 vehicles declined in China in July 2025. The company reportedly sold 30,766 units of the Model Y in July, marking a 15.24% year-over-year decline and a 31.4% month-over-month drop. Model 3 sales, meanwhile, declined by 0.78% year-over-year to 9,851 units in July; this number also represented a 40.79% month-over-month drop.

This visit follows President Donald Trump’s recent call for Tan’s resignation from Intel. Tan is expected to meet extensively with Trump to discuss his background and propose potential collaborations between Intel and the U.S. government.

The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.09 per share and sales of $299.01 million, beating estimates of $0.86 and $293.54 million, respectively. Monday raised its FY25 sales guide to a range between $1.22 billion and $1.23 billion, meeting estimates of $1.22 billion, and guided Q3 sales between $311 million and $313 million, in-line with estimates of $312.95 million.

Gapping up after Calcalist reported that ZIM CEO Eli Glickman and Rami Unger are ]preparing a bid to acquire all of Zim for up to $2.4 billion, representing a 28% premium. The board is reportedly debating whether Glickman should step aside during negotiations and if selling now makes sense given the company’s market value is below its cash holdings. Approximately 20.75% of the stock’s float is sold short.

Trading higher premarket after its Q2 2025 earnings report. The company reported earnings of $0.00 per share, better than the expected loss of $0.09 per share. Revenue was reported at $1.398 billion, beating estimates of $1.31 billion and marking an increase of 35.6% year-over-year. Consolidated admissions revenue, food and beverage revenue per guest, and total revenue per patron all reached a record high this quarter.

The company announced that it is interesting in making an approximately $1.17 billion bid for German AI cloud group Northern Data, which would give it control of the company’s GPU-rich Taiga cloud unit and large-scale data center arm, Ardent. The Taiga unit holds a major inventory of Nvidia chips, including about 20,480 H100s and over 2,000 H200s. Northern Data’s board is reportedly reviewing the potential share-based offer. Separately, Rumble reported Q2 losses of $0.12 per share and sales of $25.08 million, missing analyst estimates for both metrics.
