In The News

CAVA Group Inc (CAVA)

-23.85%

Gapping down after its Q2 2025 earnings report. Adjusted earnings of $0.16 per share beat estimates of $0.14, while sales of $278.249 million missed estimates of $286.582 million. Revenue grew by 20.3% on a year-over-year basis, though same-store sales growth of 2.1% lagged estimates. The company guided same-store sales growth between 4% and 6% for the fiscal year, below its previous projection of 6% to 8% growth.

CoreWeave (CRWV)

-8.77%

Gapping down after its Q2 2025 earnings report. The company reported a larger-than-expected loss per share, though sales of $1.213 billion beat estimates of $1.081 billion. CoreWeave ended the quarter with a revenue backlog of $30.1 billion, with total revenue for Q2 growing by more than 300% on a year-over-year basis. The company guided better-than-expected sales for Q3 and FY25.

Alphabet Inc (GOOGL)

+0.25%

On watch after the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that AI startup Perplexity made an unsolicited $34.5 billion bid for Google’s Chrome browser. The reported offer comes amid a U.S. District Judge’s consideration of remedies for Google’s illegal search monopoly. While a forced sale of Chrome is seen as unlikely, the bid appears aimed at showing the court there is a willing buyer, though Google has signaled no interest in selling.

Bullish (BLSH)

0.00%

The crypto exchange is set to make its trading debut via initial public offering on Wednesday, currently priced at $37 per share. This pricing is above the expected range of $32 to $37 and gives Bullish a market value of $5.4 billion. The Peter Thiel-backed company is offering 30 million shares through the IPO and is raising $1.1 billion through the offering.

Circle Internet Group Inc (CRCL)

-1.48%

Trading lower premarket after announcing a public offering of 10 million shares. Circle itself is offering 2 million shares, while selling stockholders are offering 8 million shares. The offering follows Circle’s first earnings report since its IPO in June.

Chinese ADRs

+1.97%

Trading higher as a group following a strong overnight session on Wednesday. The CSI 300 Index closed 0.79% higher, while the tech-heavy Hang Seng Index gained 2.58% to close at session highs. This strength was attributed in part to an increase in global investor sentiments amid indications that the Federal Reserve may cut interest rates in the US in September.

BABA, BIDU, JD, PDD, BILI, LI, NIO, XPEV, FXI, KWEB

NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)

-0.03%

On watch after Piper Sandler raised its price target for the stock from $180 to $225, maintaining its Overweight rating. The analyst attributed the price target increase to Nvidia’s strong revenue growth, robust financial health, and positive hyperscaler commentary on future demand. The firm sees potential upside in upcoming July and October quarters, with China demand possibly adding $6 billion in October sales.

Amazon.com Inc (AMZN)

+0.08%

On watch after Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest purchased shares in the company. Ark acquired 6.486 Amazon shares through its ARKX ETF on Tuesday, valuing the purchase at approximately $1.44 million.

Rigetti Computing Inc (RGTI)

-1.05%

Trading lower premarket after its Q2 2025 earnings report. The company posted losses of $0.13 per share, larger than the expected loss of $0.06, with sales of $1.801 million missing estimates of $1.883 million and declining sharply from $3.086 million in Q2 2024.

Bitmine Immersion and SharpLink Gaming

+4.02%

Both of these Ethereum treasury plays are trading higher premarket. Ethereum is poised to continue its recent rally, trading just below the $4,700 level as of Wednesday around 7:55 AM.

BMNR, SBET

Bolt Projects Holdings Inc (BSLK)

+78.90%

Gapping up after its Q2 2025 earnings report. Losses of $2.20 per share marked a significant improvement on a year-over-year basis, and sales of $1.302 million similarly increased sharply from $56,000 in Q2 2024. The stock has rallied in the past and has a market capitalization of $4.49 million with a 1.37 million-share float, 13% of which is sold short.
