CoreWeave ended the quarter with a revenue backlog of $30.1 billion, with total revenue for Q2 growing by more than 300% on a year-over-year basis. The company guided better-than-expected sales for Q3 and FY25.

On watch after the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that AI startup Perplexity made an unsolicited $34.5 billion bid for Google’s Chrome browser. The reported offer comes amid a U.S. District Judge’s consideration of remedies for Google’s illegal search monopoly. While a forced sale of Chrome is seen as unlikely, the bid appears aimed at showing the court there is a willing buyer, though Google has signaled no interest in selling.
