Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD)
+14.34%
Gapping up after Meta Platforms signed a multiyear deal with the company to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of AI chips for data centers, with early shipments of AMD’s MI450 GPUs beginning later this year as part of Meta’s massive AI infrastructure expansion. The agreement follows Meta’s earlier commitment to use millions of processors from Nvidia, underscoring intensifying competition in the AI chip market as Meta boosts spending to compete in the global AI race.
Software, IT, and Cybersecurity Stocks
+0.20%
On watch as a group following a sector-wide selloff on Monday, attributed in large part to a report published by Citrini Research on Sunday. The report, entitled “The 2028 Global Intelligence Crisis”, argued that a situation in which human workers are gradually replaced by AI would result in a recession and cause the S&P 500 to drop 38% from all-time highs by June 2028. IT stocks like IBM and Cognizant dropped further around 2:00 PM ET on Monday after Anthropic announced that its Claude Code product has the ability to automate COBOL modernization.

Crypto Stocks
-1.21%
Continuing to trade lower as a group amid continued weakness in Bitcoin, which is on track for a four-day losing streak. The cryptocurrency opened Tuesday’s session around $64,600 and reached as low as $62,700 before recovering to trade near $63,200 as of 7:10 AM ET.

Intel Corp (INTC)
+2.09%
Trading higher premarket after SambaNova Systems announced a partnership with the company and unveiled its SN50 AI chip, claiming speeds up to five times faster than competing chips and three times lower total cost of ownership for enterprise AI inference. SambaNova’s collaboration with Intel is set to focus on scaling high-performance AI solutions, and Intel is slated to participate in a $350 million funding round for the company.
Hims & Hers Health Inc (HIMS)
-6.25%
Gapping down after its Q4 2025 earnings report. Earnings of $0.08 per share topped estimates of $).03, though sales of $617.818 million missed estimates of $619.222 million. The company guided Q1 2026 sales between $600 million and $625 million, below estimates of $653.115 million, though the midpoint of its FY 2026 sales outlook exceeded expectations.
NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)
-0.63%
Analysts continue to weigh in on the company and stock ahead of its Q4 2026 earnings report after the bell on Wednesday, February 25. DA Davidson said that Nvidia may no longer serve as a key market bellwether, arguing investors have shifted toward other AI winners such as Google and Broadcom. The firm believes Nvidia’s stock already reflects expectations of a peak in AI demand by 2026, while other companies’ valuations assume a longer multi-year AI growth cycle. Raymond James, meanwhile, reiterated a Buy on Nvidia and argued that the stock is forming a technical bottom in the intermediate term.
Paramount Skydance, Warner Bros, and Netflix
+0.45%
On watch as a trio after Reuters reported that Paramount Skydance submitted a higher takeover bid for Warner Bros. Discovery, improving on its earlier $108.4 billion offer to address financing concerns and challenge Warner’s planned deal with Netflix. Netflix, which is currently offering $82.7 billion for Warner’s studios and streaming assets, is allowed to match the new Paramount Skydance bid.

Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO)
-3.15%
The company’s US-listed shares are trading lower premarket following a sharp selloff on Monday. Novo Nordisk and United Biotechnology said their triple-agonist obesity drug candidate UBT251 produced up to 19.7% average weight loss after 24 weeks in a Phase 2 China trial, versus 2.0% with placebo. The once-weekly treatment showed mostly mild-to-moderate gastrointestinal side effects across tested doses of 2 mg, 4 mg, and 6 mg. Separately, the Wall Street Journal reported that the company will lower its US listing prices for Wegovy and Ozempic as of January 1, 2027.
Apple Inc (AAPL)
+0.42%
The Wall Street Journal, citing Apple CEO Sabih Khan, reported that Apple plans to begin assembling some Mac Mini units in a Houston facility operated by Foxconn later this year as part of its broader push to shift parts of its supply chain to the US. Most of the company’s production will remain in Asia. The move follows Apple’s pledge to boost domestic investment and includes expanding the Houston site with a manufacturing training center.
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
-0.50%
The company is suing the California Department of Motor Vehicles, arguing the agency wrongly labeled it a false advertiser over its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving marketing and failed to prove consumers were misled about the systems’ capabilities. The suit, filed on February 13 and reported by CNBC on Monday evening, follows the DMV’s earlier lawsuit seeking to suspend Tesla’s operations over alleged misleading claims, though the agency instead gave the company 90 days to revise its marketing and avoided a shutdown.
Home Depot Inc (HD)
+2.39%
The company posted adjusted earnings of $2.72 per share and sales of $38.198 billion, beating estimates of $2.54 and $38.119 billion, respectively. Comparable sales grew by 0.4% year-over-year, while US comparable sales grew by 0.3%. Home Depot guided sales between $168.8 billion and $172.1 billion for FY 2026, compared to estimates of $171.255 billion. The company projected adjusted EPS between $14.69 and $15.28 for the same period, compared to estimates of $15.07. Its GAAP EPS outlook of $14.23-$14.80 for FY 2026 came in below estimates of $14.79.
Vir Biotechnology Inc (VIR)
+55.59%
Gapping up after its Q4 2025 earnings report, during which it announced that it will jointly develop and commercialize its experimental prostate cancer drug with Astellas Pharma. Vir will receive $335 million in upfront and near-term payments. The deal also allows Vir to earn up to $1.37 billion in additional milestone payments and double-digit royalties on sales outside the United States. The company posted losses of $0.31 per share for Q4 2025, beating estimates of a $0.41-per-share loss, with sales of $64.07 million beating estimates of $23.183 million.
