Trading lower premarket following its earnings report. The company reported adjusted earnings of $0.39 per share and sales of $983 million, above estimates of $0.34 and $946.73 million, respectively. Revenue grew by 19% on a year-over-year basis, with royalty revenue reaching record levels and jumping by 23% for the quarter. Arm guided Q4 2025 revenue between $1.175 billion and $1.275 billion, and narrowed its FY25 revenue guidance to $3.94 billion-$4.04 billion.

Qualcomm Inc (QCOM)

Trading sharply lower premarket following its Q1 2025 earnings report. The company reported adjusted earnings of $3.41 per share and revenue of $11.669 billion, beating estimates of $2.96 and $10.927 billion, respectively. Revenue reached a Q1 record and grew by 17% year-over-year, with revenue in all of the company’s major segments also experiencing year-over-year growth. The company guided Q2 revenue between $10.3 billion and $11.2 billion versus estimates of $10.3 billion. Additionally, Qualcomm noted that Arm does not currently plan on ending the company’s architectural license following a legal battle between the two entities.

Amazon.com Inc (AMZN)

On watch ahead of its Q4 2024 earnings report, scheduled to be released after the bell on February 6. Analysts are looking for the company to report earnings of $1.52 per share and $187.28 billion in quarterly revenue. Additionally, Reuters reported on Wednesday afternoon that Amazon is holding a press conference on February 26 to unveil its AI-related Alexa upgrades. A final vote on the readiness of the new Alexa, reportedly referred to as “Banyan” and “Remarkable Alexa”, is set to take place on February 14.

Gapping down after its Q4 2024 earnings report. Adjusted earnings of $0.39 per share exceeded estimates of $0.33, and sales of $48.2 billion significantly outpaced estimates of $43.353 billion. Ford Blue revenue was flat year-over-year for fiscal 2024, while the full-year EBIT loss for Model e was $5.1 billion. The company guided “roughly breakeven” adjusted EBIT for Q1 2025, citing a drop in wholesales and events at some of its major assembly plants; Ford guided adjusted EBIT between $7 billion and $8.5 billion for the fiscal year.

Tesla Inc (TSLA)

The company was surpassed by rival BYD for new vehicle registrations in the UK for January, according to data from SMMT. BYD’s registrations reached 1,614, up 551% year-over-year, while Tesla’s 1,458 registrations marked a decline from the 1581 reported for January 2024. In Q4 2024, BYD surpassed Tesla to become the world’s top BEV seller; Tesla held the spot for the prior three quarters.

Trading higher as a group in tandem with a rebound in Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency opened below $96,500 and is trading near $98,500 as of Thursday morning, though it has yet to surpass Wednesday’s high above $99,000. Separately, MicroStrategy announced its rebrand to “Strategy” on Wednesday afternoon ahead of its earnings report. Strategy reported losses of $3.20 per share for Q4 2024, with sales of $120.697 million missing estimates of $123.248 million.

On watch after Morgan Stanley reiterated the stock as its “Top Pick”, citing strong demand for its Hopper and Blackwell AI chips. The analyst views the stock’s recent selloff as a buying opportunity despite concerns over DeepSeek competition. While acknowledging risks like U.S. export restrictions and AI investment shifts, they remain bullish on Nvidia’s long-term growth in AI inference. Morgan Stanley also noted that they expect ASIC enthusiasm to return in H2, and that they are expecting positive outlook for Nvidia after its Q4 earnings report.

The company reported losses of $0.24 per share, missing estimates of a $0.10-per-share loss, though sales of $673.9 million exceeded estimates of $654.04 million. Peloton guided FY25 revenue between $2.43 billion and $2.48 billion compared to analyst estimates of $2.47 billion. Roughly 16.2% of the stock’s float is sold short.

Gapping down following its earnings report. The company reported revenue of $988.2 million, above estimates of $967.2 million, and losses of $0.33 per share, narrower than the expected loss of $0.44. Daily active users were reported at $85.3 million, significantly below estimates of $88.39 million, while bookings of $1.36 billion just missed estimates of $1.37 billion. Roblox guided Q1 2025 revenue between $990 million and $1.015 billion and projected bookings between $1.125 billion and $1.15 billion.
