In The News
Intel Corp and Advanced Micro Devices
+2.21%
KeyBanc upgraded both stocks from Sector Weight to Overweight, setting a $60 price target for Intel and a $270 price target for AMD. The analyst cited strong hyperscaler-driven data center demand, near sell-outs in server CPUs, and potential 10–15% ASP increases as a reason for both upgrades. For Intel, Keybanc highlighted reports that Intel has landed Apple as an 18A foundry customer. The AMD upgrade, meanwhile, was additionally attributed to expectations of significant AI GPU revenue, with 200K MI355 units in 1H and a major MI455/Helios ramp in 2H.

JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM)
+0.93%
The financial institution posted adjusted earnings of $5.23 per share and sales of $46.767 billion, beating estimates of $4.92 and $46.024 billion, respectively. Markets revenue grew by 17% year-over-year, while investment banking fees contracted by 5%. The company guided net interest income of roughly $103 billion for FY26, above estimates of $100.4 bilion. CEO Jamie Dimon noted economic resilience even amid a softening in labor markets.
L3Harris Technologies Inc (LHX)
+12.42%
Gapping up after announcing that the US government will invest $1 billion in the company’s rocket motor business, ensuring a steady supply of motors used in missiles like Tomahawks and Patriots. L3Harris plans to spin off the business into a new publicly traded company, with the government’s convertible securities converting to equity upon the 2026 IPO.
Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL)
-5.66%
Gapping down after its Q4 2025 earnings report, with adjusted earnings of $1.55 per share and sales of $16.003 billion beating estimates of $1.53 and $15.585 billion, respectively. The company guided adjusted EPS between $6.50 and $7.50 for FY26, above estimates of $5.79. For Q1 2026, Delta projected adjusted earnings of $0.50 to $0.90 per share, compared to analyst estimates of $0.70; the airline guided stronger-than-expected revenue for the same period.
Meta Platforms (META)
-0.04%
On Monday afternoon, the New York Times reported that the company is reportedly planning to cut 10% or more of jobs in its Reality Labs division as it reallocates resources from metaverse initiatives toward next-generation AI and wearable technologies. The layoffs, which could be announced as soon as Tuesday, would impact a unit of about 15,000 employees. This report comes as Meta shifts funding to smart glasses and wrist-based devices.
Alphabet Inc (GOOGL)
+0.78%
The company’s market capitalization touched $4 trillion for the first time ever on Monday morning after Apple confirmed that it is partnering with Google to power upcoming features, including a more personalized Siri built on Gemini models and Google’s cloud infrastructure. Separately, Nikkei Asia reported that the company will begin developing and manufacturing high-end Pixel smartphones in Vietnam this year, leveraging its existing supplier network there.
Arm Holdings PLC (ARM)
-2.25%
Trading lower premarket after BofA Securities downgraded the stock from Buy to Neutral with a $120 price target, citing a potential revenue slowdown across royalties and licensing and growing reliance on SoftBank into 2026. The firm warned that weakening smartphone demand and limited CSS adoption could pressure near-term results, though it remains positive on Arm’s longer-term data center and chiplet opportunities.
The Boeing Company (BA)
+0.33%
On watch after Delta Air Lines announced an order of up to 60 787 Dreamliners from the company. This includes Delta’s purchase of 30 787-10 planes, as well as the possible purchase of up to 30 more “of the largest 787 variants”, as per a press release. Deliveries of the planes are set to commence in 2031.
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
+0.19%
The company unveiled a new 7-seat Model Y for the U.S., priced at a $2,500 premium and available on the Premium AWD trim. This model includes features like a black headliner and a larger 16-inch touchscreen. The launch follows strong China momentum, where Tesla posted record December sales of over 93,000 vehicles, aided by the popularity of multi-row Model Y variants.
Super Micro Computer Inc (SMCI)
-0.86%
Goldman Sachs initiated coverage on the stock with a Sell rating and a $26 price target, citing concerns over limited visibility into improving profitability. While Goldman expects Super Micro to remain a leader in AI servers, it warns that margin-dilutive deals, rising competition, and heavy investment spending could drive further downside to margins and constrain forward earnings.
Microsoft Corp (MSFT)
-0.34%
US President Donald Trump announced via a Truth Social post that his administration is working with major U.S. tech firms, including Microsoft, to ensure data center power costs do not lead to higher electricity bills for Americans. Trump stressed that tech companies must “pay their own way” and signaled imminent policy changes. The comments come as data center electricity demand is projected to nearly triple to 12% of U.S. power use by 2028, raising concerns about grid strain and sharp rate hikes for nearby consumers.
NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)
+0.02%
The company said it does not require full upfront payment for its H200 chips and would never ask customers to pay for products they do not receive, pushing back on a Reuters report from January 8 suggesting unusually strict terms for Chinese buyers. While advance payments have been standard for some Chinese clients, Nvidia said H200 transactions faced tighter enforcement due to regulatory uncertainty around shipment approvals.
AlphaTON Capital Corp (ATON)
+128.57%
On Monday morning at 10:28 AM ET, the company announced that it has closed a $46 million AI compute deal adding 576 NVIDIA B300 chips to its infrastructure, with delivery scheduled for February.
