Trading sharply lower premarket following its Q2 2026 earnings report. Revenue reached $40.2 billion, representing 33.7% year-over-year growth. Net profit grew by 77.4% to $22.36 billion, well above estimates of $19.74 billion. The company projected Q3 revenue between $44.6 billion and $45.8 billion, beating estimates of $43.1 billion; its gross margin and operating margin projections for the quarter were in-line with estimates. Taiwan Semi also hiked its CapEx outlook from $52 billion-$56 billion to $60 billion-$64 billion. The company also announced plans to invest another $100 billion towards manufacturing in Arizona.
SK hynix Inc (SKHY)

Continuing to trade with heightened volatility following its US trading debut on Friday, July 10. The company’s US listing closed over 9% lower on Wednesday, and its native South Korean listing declined by more than 11% in the subsequent overnight session. Trading volume on SK hynix’s US listing reached 75 million shares on Wednesday alone. Other memory stocks - including Sandisk, Micron, Seagate, and Western Digital - are also trading sharply lower premarket.

Gapping up after its Q2 2026 earnings report, with revenue of $112 billion and adjusted EPS of $6.38 outpacing estimates of $110.8 billion and $4.85, respectively. The company’s medical cost ratio (MCR) declined by 270 basis points year-over-year to 86.7%, compared to estimates of 88.6%. UnitedHealth hiked its earnings forecasts for FY 2026 and now expects adjusted EPS between $19.50 and $20 for the year, compared to estimates of $18.32.

The stock fell below its IPO price of $135 for the first time during Wednesday’s session. SpaceX has declined 40% from the highs it made on June 16, its third-ever session as a publicly traded company; on that day, the company’s market capitalization briefly surpassed those of Amazon and Microsoft.

The company is partnering with Noetra and Japan's METI to build a 140MW AI factory powered by 13,750 Vera CPUs and 27,500 Rubin GPUs, creating infrastructure capable of training trillion-parameter AI models. Separately, Nvidia is expanding its partnership with Toyota beyond autonomous driving by providing AI hardware and software for smart cities, traffic management, and factory automation. Nvidia also launched smaller, lower-power Thor robotics module. The T3000 delivers similar AI inference performance to the T5000 at roughly half the size and power. The company’s Jetson agent skills are also reducing memory requirements for robotics systems, helping companies cut hardware costs while enabling more advanced AI models on robots from partners including Amazon Robotics, Boston Dynamics, and FANUC.

The company intends to use part of the proceeds for capped call transactions to limit dilution. The remaining funds will support growth initiatives, additional orbital capacity, and potential partnerships or acquisitions aimed at vertical integration.

A group of US senators is set to meet with US President Trump on Thursday afternoon to discuss progress on the Clarity Act, according to Politico. The report cited an interview with Senator Bernie Moreno, during which Moreno indicated the senators will update Trump on the “path to success” for the Clarity Act. Earlier this week, Trump called for senators to pass the crypto regulation bill in a Truth Social post. Bitcoin is trading above $64,100 as of 7:30 AM ET on Thursday.

Trading sharply lower premarket after its Q2 2026 earnings report. Revenue of $17.7 billion narrowly beat estimates of $17.6 billion, representing 16% year-over-year growth, while adjusted earnings fell by 49% to a stronger-than-expected $1.99 per share. Passenger revenue grew by 16.4% year-over-year to $16.1 billion, meeting estimates. United raised its adjusted EPS outlook to $9-$11 for FY 2026, compared to estimates of $10.36.

BofA reiterated its Buy rating and $430 price target on the company ahead of its July 22 earnings. The analyst expects second-quarter revenue of $102.1 billion and EPS of $8.38, both above Wall Street estimates. The firm also boosted its long-term forecasts, an estimated $80 billion gain from the revaluation of Alphabet's Anthropic stake. Separately, Google lost its legal challenge against an $854,250 fine related to gambling advertisements on YouTube after the European Union’s top court sided with Italy’s communications authority. The CJEU ruled that online platforms can avoid liability only when they function as purely technical, passive intermediaries without knowledge or control over the content they transmit or store.

Trading sharply lower premarket following its Q2 2026 earnings report. Revenue of $12.63 billion beat estimates of $11.86 billion, while adjusted earnings of $2.02 per share outpaced estimates of $1.86. Both of the company’s business segments exceeded revenue estimates for the quarter. Adjusted free cash flow reached $3.03 billion, well above estimates of $1.98 billion. GE Aerospace hiked its FY 2026 adjusted EPS outlook to $7.65-$7.85, compared to estimates of $7.56.

On watch after launching a takeover bid for Delivery Hero that values the German food-delivery company at $14.8 billion. The deal would create a global delivery platform spanning 99 countries if completed. This transaction would also strengthen Uber’s position against rivals like DoorDash by creating the largest food-delivery group outside China, with a projected $236 billion combined gross merchandise value in 2025.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) aid the Tesla Model 3 involved in a fatal June crash in Katy, Texas, had its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system manually overridden by the driver, who fully depressed the accelerator and reached speeds above 70 mph before striking a home. The preliminary findings indicate driver input caused the crash, supporting Tesla’s position that the accident was not due to the vehicle’s driver-assistance technology.

The deal is expected to close in Q3 2026.
