Continuing to trade higher premarket following an impressive rally on Monday. The sharp upside move was aided by comments from US President Donald Trump suggesting that he will not sell his Tesla vehicle or cancel Starlink at the White House, a sign that tensions may have cooled in his spat with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. As of Monday, Tesla’s Robotaxi has officially been named an AV operator in Austin, Texas on the DMV website. Additionally, the company sold 24,770 Model Y vehicles in China in May 2025, up 23.95% month-over-month but down 38.05% year-over-year.

The stock dropped on Monday afternoon during the company’s annual WWDC keynote. Investors and analysts were hoping for new AI updates or a timeline on a rebrand for its Siri or Apple Intelligence features; Apple did not provide a concrete timeline for either. The company unveiled a series of other features and updates to its products during the keynote, including new iOS and macOS updates and a “Liquid Glass” display. Needham reiterated its Hold rating on the stock.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg is forming a new team to pursue artificial general intelligence (AGI), as reported by Bloomberg. This update follows reports that Meta is investing $10 billion in Scale AI, whose founder Alexandr Wang may join Zuckerberg’s AGI team. The move follows dissatisfaction with Meta’s Llama 4 language model and includes plans to personally recruit around 50 experts, including a new head of AI research.

Both semiconductor companies made notable announcements on Tuesday morning. Nvidia announced that the JUPITER supercomputer, powered by nearly 24,000 Grace Hopper Superchips and the company’s full software stack, is now the fastest in Europe and the most energy-efficient among the world’s top five systems. Meanwhile, AMD announced that Nokia has adopted its 5th Gen EPYC 9005 Series processors to power the Nokia Cloud Platform, enhancing performance, scalability, and energy efficiency for 5G core, edge, and enterprise applications.

Trading higher premarket after announcing its sales data for May 2025. Monthly revenue reached $10.7 billion, representing a 39.6% year-over-year increase and a 8.3% month-over-month decline. The company reported $50.41 billion in revenue year-to-date, up by 42.6% compared to this period last year.

Delegations from the US and China have reportedly already begun their second day of negotiations on trade in London. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described the first round of talks on Monday as “a good meeting”, while US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick described the conversation as “fruitful”. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer is also in the US delegation. Vice Premier He Lifeng, meanwhile, is leading the Chinese delegation. Additionally, Tencent Music is gapping up after announcing plans to acquire Ximalaya for $1.26 billion in a cash and stock deal.

The company, alongside AI firm Wayve, announced plans to launch public-road trials of Level 4 autonomous vehicles in London. This marks the first such initiative enabled by the U.K. government's new framework for commercial self-driving pilots. This next phase of their partnership will integrate Wayve’s Embodied AI into Uber’s platform, with the U.K. becoming Uber’s largest market for autonomous vehicle testing.

On Monday, the company announced plans to invest at least $20 billion to expand AI infrastructure in Pennsylvania. The investment is expected to lead to the creation of 1,250 new jobs and also includes training programs and learning opportunities for local communities. Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania praised the investment, saying that it puts the state in a leadership position in the AI race between the US and China.

The company’s US-listed shares are trading higher premarket after the Financial Times reported that Parvus Asset Management, an activist hedge fund, is building a stake in the company. Parvus has previously been involved with companies like Ryanair and UniCredit, and its reported stake in Novo Nordisk is unknown. This report follows the resignation of Novo Nordisk CEO Lars Fruergaard Jorgensen last month.
