On watch as a group after the Senate passed the GENIUS Act with a 68-30 vote, marking the first federal framework for US dollar-pegged stablecoins and enabling private companies to issue digital dollars under government oversight. Touted as a major win for the crypto industry and a boost to U.S. dollar dominance, the bill imposes strict compliance standards while opening stablecoin issuance to banks, fintechs, and retailer. The bill still awaits approval in the House. Stablecoin issuer Circle, which recently made its market debut, is trading higher following the announcement.

Amazon.com Inc (AMZN)
+0.20%
On watch following a blog post from CEO Andy Jassy on Tuesday, during which he indicated that the company will likely face workforce reductions in the coming years due to AI-driven efficiency. Jassy noted Amazon is developing over 1,000 GenAI applications and plans to invest nearly $100 billion in AI in 2025, positioning the company to outpace rivals like Microsoft and Alphabet amid growing demand for AI infrastructure and talent.
NVDA, TSM
Meta Platforms Inc (META)
+0.29%
The company has offered OpenAI employees signing bonuses of up to $100 million in an aggressive effort to recruit top AI talent, according to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. The move highlights intensifying competition in the AI space as Meta continues to build its superintelligence unit, which saw the company take a 49% stake in Scale AI as of last week. Additionally, the White House announced that President Donald Trump plans to issue a third 90-day extension allowing ByteDance more time to divest TikTok’s U.S. business, aiming to prevent the app from being banned.
Marvell Technologies Inc (MRVL)
+1.60%
Trading higher premarket following a series of analyst notes and actions on the stock. Bank of America raised its price target on Marvell from $80 to $90, citing the company’s guidance of $18–19 billion in AI data center sales by 2028. The analyst noted that Marvell’s outlook suggests ~$8 EPS potential, well above the current $5 consensus, and positions Marvell to close the gap with leading AI peers. Needham and Rosenblatt both reiterated Buy ratings on the stock and maintained price targets of $85 and $124, respectively.
Uber and Lyft
+0.13%
On watch as a pair following commentary from Wells Fargo on Waymo, Alphabet’s autonomous driving unit. The analyst projects that Waymo will capture 10% of U.S. rideshare trips by 2030, growing from 18 million rides in 2025 to 465 million. Wells Fargo believes that this expansion could lead to market share losses of 5 points for Uber and 4 points for Lyft as Waymo’s service coverage increases to 57% of U.S. rideshare demand.
UBER, LYFT
Palantir Technologies (PLTR)
+0.54%
Attempting to rebound after ending Tuesday’s session flat on the day. The stock gapped up but pushed lower throughout the session as traders assessed a $200 million Department of Defense contract awarded to OpenAI, one of Palantir’s competitors. The OpenAI deal is valued at only $10 million less than Palantir’s largest defense contract with the US government.
Nuclear Stocks
+1.35%
Trading higher as a group, led by catalyst-driven gains in NuScale (SMR). On Wednesday morning, the company announced the launch of research initiatives to develop integrated energy systems that address water scarcity, clean hydrogen production, and industrial brine reuse using its advanced small modular reactor technology. A single NuScale Power Module can generate around 150 million gallons of clean water daily with zero carbon emissions, and a 12-module setup could support a city of 2.3 million people while powering 400,000 homes.
