The stock surged higher on Wednesday following the launch of Coinbase Payments, a stablecoin-based platform built on USDC and its Base network to simplify global e-commerce transactions. The platform is live via Shopify integration. The launch coincides with growing momentum in U.S. stablecoin regulation, including Senate passage of the GENIUS Act, and signals Coinbase's push to diversify revenue beyond trading by targeting the $30 trillion stablecoin payments market. The company is also partnering with JPMorgan for the launch of the bank’s blockchain-based deposit token representing traditional bank deposits, called JPMD.

Microsoft Corp (MSFT)

Bloomberg reported that the company preparing to cut thousands of jobs, mainly in sales, as it streamlines operations and reallocates resources toward AI, following a previous layoff of 6,000 employees in May. At the same time, Microsoft may walk away from ongoing negotiations with OpenAI, opting instead to rely on its current commercial agreement to retain access to OpenAI’s technology through 2030.

NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)

The company is in advanced talks with Foxconn to deploy humanoid robots at a new Houston factory set to produce Nvidia's GB300 AI servers, as reported by Reuters. This would mark the first time such robots would assist in manufacturing an Nvidia product. The move, expected to be finalized in the coming months, signals a major step in robotic automation, with deployment targeted for early 2026.

Trading higher premarket after signing a $550 million deal to build its first grid-scale energy storage station in Shanghai using its Megapack batteries, amid ongoing U.S.-China trade tensions. The agreement, made with the Shanghai government and China Kangfu Leasing Co., marks a major step in Tesla’s expansion into China’s clean energy infrastructure. Separately, Texas lawmakers have asked Tesla to delay its Robotaxi launch, set to take place in Austin on June 22, until new state regulations on autonomous vehicles take effect on September 1, 2025.

Meta Platforms Inc (META)

On watch as CEO Mark Zuckerberg continues to assemble his superintelligence team to help the company get a leg up in the AGI race. The Information reported that Meta is bringing on Daniel Gross and Nat Friedman—the duo behind venture firm NFDG and leaders at Ilya Sutskever’s startup Safe Superintelligence—after a failed attempt to acquire the company outright. As part of the move, both will join Meta under Scale AI’s Alexandr Wang, and Meta will also take a stake in NFDG. Wang joined Meta’s team last week after the company took a 49% stake in Scale.

Circle Internet Group Inc (CRCL)

Gapping up following a strong rally on Wednesday that saw the stock close nearly 34% higher. The move was driven by a flurry of positive sentiment in the stablecoin space, including a Senate vote in favor of the GENIUS Act and the launch of Coinbase’s new stablecoin-based payment platform. Circle made its public trading debut via IPO on June 5, 2025.

Apple Inc (AAPL)

Highlighting Apple’s evolution from the A4 chip to the latest powering Macs and Vision Pro, Srouji emphasized the importance of leveraging advanced tools like EDA software to stay at the forefront of semiconductor innovation.

Trading sharply lower premarket following its Q3 2025 earnings report. Earnings of $3.49 per share and sales of $17.7 billion beat estimates of $3.31 and $17.3 billion, respectively. The company tightened the lower end of its FY25 revenue guide, now expecting growth of 6% to 7%, and raised its EPS guide for the fiscal year from $12.55-$12.79 to $12.77-$12.89; the new EPS guide exceeds analyst estimates of $12.75. Accenture also announced an “AI-focused growth model overhaul” effective September 1, 2025, which includes a new invention services unit and the appointment of Manish Sharma as Chief Services Officer.

CarMax Inc (KMX)

Gapping up after its Q1 2026 earnings report, with sales of $7.55 billion and earnings of $1.38 per share beating estimates of $7.47 billion and $1.21, respectively. The company reported a 9% year-over-year increase in retail used unit sales, while comparable store used unit sales increased by 8.1%. CarMax also reported a 1.2% increase in wholesale unit sales.

Trading higher with notable premarket volume after entering into a partnership with Benzinga. The partnership will allow the company to enhance its SoFi Invest platform by integrating Benzinga’s data, including analyst ratings, price targets, earnings information, and market movement insights. This collaboration aims to provide SoFi members with smarter, more informed tools to improve their investment decisions.

Gapping up after the company announced that it has made progress in finding easier and more accurate ways to detect early brain changes linked to Alzheimer’s and related memory problems. By combining brainwave tests (EEG) with brain scans (MRI), researchers can better distinguish between mild memory issues and more serious dementia, potentially helping doctors catch problems earlier and improve treatment. Firefly has a float of 6.96 million shares.
