In The News
Oil and Energy Stocks
+2.34%
Trading higher as a group after the US attacked three Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday. Following the strike, Sentosa Shipbrokers reported that at least two VLCCs (very large crude carriers) reversed course at the Strait of Hormuz, one en route to Iraq and the other to the UAE for a Unipec China delivery. Overall, loaded tanker departures from the Gulf have fallen 27%, while incoming empty tankers are down 32% since early May, signaling heightened regional tension and shipping disruptions.

Circle Internet Group Inc (CRCL)
+7.37%
Gapping up to new all-time highs amid ongoing post-IPO hype and optimism towards the stablecoin space. The stock gained nearly 80% last week, driven in part by a Senate vote in favor of the GENIUS Act and a handful of stablecoin-related announcements from Coinbase. Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest sold 609,175 shares of Circle following Friday’s rally in a transaction valued at over $100 million.
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
+0.39%
Trading marginally higher following its much-anticipated Robotaxi unveiling in Austin on Sunday. The company showcased over 10 Model Y vehicles running on its Unsupervised Full Self-Driving system, with social media influencers invited to test rides. While the event marks a major step toward competing with Waymo and Zoox in the self-driving taxi space, it comes amid ongoing scrutiny from U.S. safety regulators and skepticism from industry experts about the viability of full autonomy.
Crypto Stocks
-2.03%
Trading lower as a group following a steep drop in the price of Bitcoin over the weekend, likely driven by the news that the US has struck Iran. The cryptocurrency, which reached a high near $106,500 on Friday, traded as low as $98,225 on Sunday. Bitcoin is trading above $101,200 as of Monday around 7:25 AM ET; Ethereum, meanwhile, is trading near $2,250 after reaching lows near $2,100 on Sunday.

Apple Inc (AAPL)
-0.14%
The Financial Times reported that the company is in urgent talks with EU regulators to avoid escalating fines under the Digital Markets Act, after already being hit with a €500 million penalty for anti-competitive App Store practices. The company is expected to offer concessions on its “steering” restrictions and “Core Technology Fee” to buy time before Thursday’s compliance deadline, amid broader U.S.-EU tensions over Big Tech regulation.
Super Micro Computer Inc (SMCI)
-3.29%
Trading sharply lower premarket after proposing a $2 billion convertible senior notes offering due 2030, with an option for initial purchasers to buy an additional $300 million within 13 days of issuance. The notes will be sold to qualified institutional buyers under Rule 144A of the Securities Act, subject to market conditions. Approximately 19.8% of Super Micro’s float is sold short.
Hims & Hers Health (HIMS)
-14.36%
Gapping down after Reuters reported that Novo Nordisk has ended its collaboration with Hims & Hers, meaning the company will no longer have direct access to weight-loss drug Wegovy through NovoCare Pharmacy. This termination cuts off a key distribution channel for Hims & Hers' weight-loss offerings. Hims & Hers has a short float of approximately 32.2%.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD)
+0.44%
Melius Research upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy, increasing its price target from $110 to $175. The analyst cited strong revenue growth, a projected surge in AI inferencing demand, and long-term upside in the GPU market as reasons for the upgrade. Despite past stock volatility, Melius believes AMD is still in the early stages of a growth cycle and forecasts earnings per share could exceed $8 within two years. Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest purchased 247,753 shares across three ETFs as of Friday’s close, with the total purchase amounting to approximately $31.4 million.
Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO)
-5.45%
The company announced that its experimental weight-loss drug CagriSema showed mostly mild-to-moderate side effects and positive outcomes on blood sugar levels in two Phase 3 trials. The company plans to seek regulatory approval for the drug in early 2026, despite a higher rate of serious adverse events (9.8%) compared to placebo (6.1%). Analysts at Jefferies said that the changes were merely “incremental” and noted concerns over the medication’s tolerability.
Exelixis Inc (EXEL)
+26.36%
Gapping up after announcing that its Phase 3 STELLAR-303 trial showed zanzalintinib combined with atezolizumab significantly improved overall survival compared to regorafenib in patients with previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer. The safety profile was consistent with prior data, and the trial will continue to assess overall survival in patients without liver metastases. Approximately 7.1% of the stock’s float is sold short.
Oklo Inc (OKLO)
-1.16%
Trading lower premarket following a downgrade from Craig Hallum. The analyst cut its rating for the stock from Buy to Hold and assigned a $59 price target. Approximately 14.2% of Oklo’s float is sold short.
Indonesia Energy and US Energy Corp
+21.32%
The small-cap energy plays are gapping up after the US struck three nuclear sites in Iran over the weekend, exacerbating ongoing geopolitical tensions. Both tickers have rallied in the past, generally in sympathy with larger oil and gas names in sector-wide moves. Indonesia Energy has a float of 11.13 million shares and a short float around 5.8%, while US Energy has a float of 27.2 million shares and a 1.5% short float.
