Oil and Energy Stocks
-4.04%
Pulling back as a group amid a sharp decline in the price of oil, which has been fluctuating as traders and investors assess geopolitical tensions in Iran. In a Truth Social post on Monday, US President Donald Trump warned that the United States would strike Iran “twenty times harder” if it attempted to disrupt oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, a key route that carries about 31% of global seaborne oil flows. At a press conference on Monday, Trump said that the US is waiving “certain oil-related sanctions” in an effort to reduce the price of oil; he also indicated that the conflict will end “very soon”.

NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)
+0.09%
On watch after WIRED reported that the company is preparing to launch an open-source AI agent platform called NemoClaw aimed at enterprise software companies. The platform would allow businesses to deploy AI agents for internal tasks, run on hardware beyond Nvidia chips, and include built-in security and privacy features. Separately, BofA weighed in with their expectations for the company’s March 16 keynote at GTC. The firm expects the presentation to focus on Nvidia’s updated GPU roadmap, co-designed AI inference products, and new optics technologies.
Crypto Stocks
+2.37%
Trading higher as a group in tandem with Bitcoin, which is poised for a two-day winning streak. The cryptocurrency closed nearly 4% higher on Monday and is trading around $70,600 as of Tuesday at 7:15 AM ET, marking a 3% gain. Ethereum is also up 3% premarket and has reclaimed the $2,000 level. Additionally, B. Riley initiated coverage on Strategy with a Buy rating and $175 price target.

NIO Inc (NIO)
+7.09%
Gapping up after its Q4 2025 earnings report, which included the company’s first-ever quarterly profit of $40.4 million. Nio reported quarterly revenue of $4.8 billion, above estimates of $4.6 billion, with earnings of $0.04 per share exceeding expectations of a $0.01-per-share loss. The company guided Q1 2026 deliveries between 80,000 and 83,000 vehicles and projected quarterly revenue between $3.4 billion and $3.5 billion.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd (TSM)
+0.80%
Trading marginally higher premarket after sharing its revenue for February 2026. The company reported monthly sales at approximately $10 billion, representing a 22.2% year-over-year improvement. This number, however, also marks a 20.8% sequential decline from the $12.6 billion in revenue Taiwan Semi reported for January 2026.
Apple Inc (AAPL)
-0.09%
Reuters reported that the company is facing calls from German publishers and advertisers for the country’s competition authority to impose a fine, arguing proposed changes to its App Tracking Transparency rules do not resolve antitrust concerns. The dispute stems from complaints by ad-dependent companies, including Meta Platforms, which say the tracking restrictions abuse Apple’s market power. Additionally, Bloomberg reported that the company increased the number of phone assembled in India from roughly 36 million in 2024 to ~55 million in 2025, representing its efforts to decrease its reliance on China for production.
Kohl’s Corp (KSS)
-7.43%
Gapping down after its Q4 2025 earnings report. Revenue of $5 billion narrowly missed estimates of $5.02 billion and marked a 3.9% year-over-year decline, while earnings of $1.07 per share handily beat estimates of $0.86. Comparable sales declined by 2.8% year-over-year, though gross margin expanded by 25 basis points. Kohl’s guided adjusted earnings between $1.00 and $1.60 per share for FY 2026 and projected net sales and comparable sales growth between 0% and -2%.
Rivian Automotive Inc (RIVN)
+4.66%
Trading sharply higher premarket after TD Cowen upgraded the stock to Buy from Hold, raising its price target to $20 from $17. The analyst attributed the upgrade to its analysis of R2 demand, which it estimates could reach 212,000–335,000 units and exceed 2027 consensus forecasts. With shares down 20% year-to-date, the firm views the risk/reward as favorable ahead of the R2 launch.
Oracle Corp (ORCL)
+1.50%
On watch ahead of its Q3 2026 earnings report, to be released on Tuesday, March 10 after the bell (ETA 4:05 PM ET). Analysts are looking for the company to post earnings of $1.70 per share and revenue of $16.89 billion. Oracle has fielded reports suggesting layoffs and a cancelled expansion of its Texas data center in the days leading up to the earnings report. The company addressed these reports for the second time in a statement released on Monday night, saying that they “reflect a fundamental misunderstanding” of the company’s data business and confirming that the Texas site is on schedule.
Qualcomm Inc (QCOM)
-2.11%
Trading lower premarket after Bank of America initiated coverage on the stock with an Underperform rating and $145 price target. The analyst attributed the rating to expected revenue and EPS growth of only about 2% and 1% annually from 2025–2028, far below the broader semiconductor sector. BofA believes the upcoming $7–$8 billion loss of Apple modem business and weak smartphone market growth could outweigh gains from Qualcomm’s expansion into automotive, IoT, and potential AI data center chips.
Joby Aviation and Archer Aviation
+2.03%
Archer Aviation filed a countersuit accusing rival Joby Aviation of defrauding the US government by allegedly misclassifying Chinese-origin aircraft materials as consumer goods to evade tariffs and oversight. The filing escalates an ongoing legal battle after Joby previously sued Archer for allegedly stealing trade secrets through a former employee. Both companies were selected as part of an air taxi pilot program led by the US Department of Transportation, as announced on Monday.
JOBY, ACHR
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co (HPE)
+1.33%
The company posted in-line revenue of $9.3 billion and better-than-expected earnings of $0.65 per share for Q1 2026. Hewlett Packard guided FY 2026 EPS between $2.30 and $2.50, in-line with estimates of $2.35, and projected revenue growth of 17% to 22% for the year. For Q2 2026, the company guided better-than-expected revenue and in-line EPS.
Meta Platforms Inc (META)
+0.49%
Citizens reiterated a Market Outperform rating and $900 price target on the stock, noting it trades slightly above fair value but benefits from strong 82% gross profit margins. The firm highlighted that global and US time spent on Meta’s platforms has grown faster than user growth, suggesting Instagram usage is rising among existing users.
Hims & Hers Health Inc (HIMS)
+3.75%
Trading sharply higher premarket after Bank of America Securities upgraded the stock to Neutral from Underperform and raised the price target to $23 from $12.50, reflecting the inclusion of GLP-1 revenue and the resolution of its lawsuit with Novo Nordisk. While BofA’s 2026–2027 revenue and EBITDA estimates remain below Street expectations, the removal of litigation risk and potential for multiple expansion from future pharmaceutical deals make the risk/reward balanced at current levels.
