In The News
NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)
+1.07%
Trading higher premarket ahead of GTC 2025, the company’s annual AI conference aimed at developers. This year’s conference is scheduled to run from Monday, March 17 to Friday, March 21. Noted supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that market participants will be looking for announcements related AI chip advancements, server production, and scaling laws. Key expectations include the launch of the B300 AI chip with a 50% performance boost, the GB300 NVL72 server, and clarity on production timelines.
Intel Corp (INTC)
+1.79%
The company’s incoming CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, is set to step into the role in an official capacity on March 18, 2025. On Monday morning, Reuters reported that Tan will be focusing on improving the company’s chip design and manufacturing segments and re-emphasizing work in the AI space. The article also noted that Tan may look into potential cuts for the business if needed.
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
-0.50%
Trading marginally lower premarket after Mizuho lowered its price target for the stock to $430 from $515. The price target cut was attributed to weak February sales in key regions, including a 49% decline in China and a 76% drop in Germany. Despite trimming 2025-2026 delivery estimates, the firm maintains an Outperform rating, seeing Tesla as a leader in EV and autonomous technology. Additionally, Tesla is offering a free trial of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) service in China from March 17 to April 16 for users with compatible hardware, software, and updated navigation maps.
Affirm Holdings Inc (AFRM)
-10.44%
Gapping down after CNBC reported that rival Klarna has secured an exclusive partnership with Walmart to provide buy now, pay later (BNPL) loans, replacing Affirm. Klarna's reported partnership is set to involve an integration with Walmart’s fintech startup OnePay. The deal strengthens Klarna’s U.S. presence ahead of its highly anticipated IPO, while posing a setback for Affirm, which has relied on major retail partnerships to drive growth.
Crypto Stocks
+1.04%
On watch as a group following a strong showing on Friday, with stocks like Strategy (MSTR) closing 13% higher as Bitcoin broke above the key $84,200 level. The cryptocurrency was relatively rangebound throughout the weekend and is trading around $83,500 as of Monday morning. Last week marked the fifth consecutive week of outflows for crypto-related exchange-traded products; outflows were recorded at $1.7 billion last week, marking $6.4 billion in cumulative outflows over the last five weeks.

Apple Inc (AAPL)
-0.28%
On watch ahead of its annual Top 100 retreat for the company’s executives. The stock dropped by more than 10% during the previous week of trading; Monday, March 10 marked the stock’s worst single-day performance since 2022. The selloff was largely attributed to concerns about the company’s delays with its AI-related upgrades. Bloomberg reported last week that Robby Walker, the company’s Siri chief, attributed the delayed AI-related Siri upgrades to a premature marketing push, a sentiment that was echoed in a note from supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO)
+3.18%
The company’s US-listed shares are trading higher after CVS Health published data from its Weight Management program, showing that the program helped participants achieve over 15% average weight loss. According to the data, existing anti-obesity medication users nearly doubled their prior results through clinician-supported diet and lifestyle changes. The program is available to 3.5 million CVS Caremark members and has led to cost savings, with participating clients spending up to 26% less on GLP-1 medications. Novo Nordisk is known for its GLP-1 medications for treating obesity and diabetes.
Quantum Stocks
+4.64%
Continuing to trade sharply higher as a group following standout performances during the previous week of trading. Last week’s quantum rally was aided by the publication of a research paper suggesting that D-Wave Quantum (QBTS) has been able to prove quantum supremacy on a practical issue. Thursday, March 20 has been designated “Quantum Day” by Nvidia’s GTC 2025 conference; companies like D-Wave and Rigetti are scheduled to present on that date.
RGTI, QUBT, QBTS, IONQ
Incyte Corp (INCY)
-14.38%
Gapping down after announcing Phase 3 trial results for povorcitinib, an oral treatment for moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The company said that the results show significant symptom improvement and a strong safety profile.
Nanovibronix Inc (NAOV)

On Friday morning, the company announced that its urinary tract infection (UTI) treatment showed 86% reduction of UTIs in an independent study. The publication also noted 70% fewer blockages when the treatment was used. The stock has a float of 3.7 million shares.
