In The News
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
+3.22%
Trading sharply higher premarket after receiving its first transportation charter-party carrier (TCP) permit in California, allowing it to manage a fleet for pre-arranged trips. The company still lacks approval for autonomous ride-hailing services at this time. This move comes as Tesla pivots toward robotaxis amid slowing EV sales. Separately, Cantor Fitzgerald upgraded the stock to Overweight.
NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)
+1.07%
Trading higher premarket following an informative keynote speech from CEO Jensen Huang on Tuesday. Huang announced collaborations with companies like General Motors, Disney, and Google DeepMind during the nearly-two-hour event. As of Tuesday’s close, Nvidia has lost $420 billion in market capitalization from the launch of Chinese AI startup DeepSeek on January 10, 2025.
Crypto Stocks
+1.73%
Trading higher as a group in tandem with Bitcoin, which is attempting to bounce back after a losing session on Tuesday. The cryptocurrency made lows just above $81,000 on Tuesday and closed the session near $82,500. Bitcoin is trading around $83,700 as of Wednesday morning, with Ethereum also poised to close higher on the day.

General Mills Inc (GIS)
-3.21%
Trading lower premarket following its Q3 2025 earnings report. Adjusted earnings of $1.00 per share beat estimates of $0.96, but sales of $4.84 billion fell short of the expected $4.96 billion. The company lowered its organic net sales growth projections for 2025 to -1.5% to -2%, compared to its previous guide of flat to +1%. General Mills also lowered its guidance for adjusted EPS growth for the same period as the company warned that it expects continued “macroeconomic uncertainty” to impact its Q4 results.
Intel Corp (INTC)
-2.31%
DigiTimes reported that Paul Liu, head of Taiwan’s National Development Council and TSMC board member, dismissed speculation that TSMC is considering acquiring Intel’s struggling foundry business. Liu reportedly said that the acquisition has never been discussed at the board level and compared the idea to mixing diesel with gasoline, calling it an incompatible combination. These comments contradict reports from last week suggesting that TSMC was looking to form a joint venture with a host of semiconductor companies in order to operate Intel’s factories.
Alphabet Inc (GOOGL)
+0.37%
On watch following Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote speech at GTC 2025 on Tuesday, during which Huang announced further collaborations between Nvidia and Google DeepMind. Separately, Wired reported that the FTC removed over 300 blog posts from Chair Lina Khan's tenure, including critiques of megacap tech companies. This shift comes amid leadership changes at the FTC under the new US administration, and is of note given Google’s announcement of its plans to acquire Wiz for $32 billion.
Advanced Micro Devices and Tempus AI
+0.94%
Both stocks are trading marginally higher premarket after Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest disclosed purchasing shares of both companies on Tuesday evening. Ark acquired 28,646 shares of Tempus one ETF and added another 142,530 shares through another, valuing the total purchase at roughly $7.83 million. The firm also purchased 30,324 shares of AMD for roughly $3.14 million. Ark Invest also purchased shares of Meta, GitLab, and Iridium Communications while selling shares of UiPath and Illumina.

Quantum Stocks
+3.45%
Continuing to see an influx of volume and retail interest as market participants await Nvidia’s Quantum Day on Thursday, March 20. Both Rigetti (RGTI) and D-Wave Quantum (QBTS) are scheduled to attend the event, which is part of Nvidia’s week-long GTC 2025 conference. Rigetti and D-Wave both closed sharply lower on Tuesday, while Quantum Computing (QUBT) closed sharply higher. All three tickers have notable short floats, with Rigetti’s short float exceeding 22%.
RGTI, QBTS, QUBT, IONQ, ARQQ
Richtech Robotics Inc (RR)
+7.61%
Trading sharply higher premarket after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized robotics during his keynote at GTC 2025 on Tuesday. Huang unveiled Nvidia’s Isaac Gr00T N1, an open-source model aimed at aiding the development of humanoid robots, and appeared onstage with an AI-powered robot created alongside Disney Research and Google DeepMind. Approximately 21% of Richtech’s float is sold short.
Biodexa Pharmaceuticals PLC (BDRX)
+51.64%
Gapping up after the company announced that it is preparing to begin the Phase 3 trial of Erapa, a treatment it is developing for patients with familial adenomatous polyposis. The stock has a float of approximately 534,400 shares, roughly 6.7% of which are sold short.
Black Diamond Therapeutics Inc (BDTX)
+31.56%
Gapping up after entering into a global licensing agreement with Servier for BDTX-4933, a treatment for solid tumors. Black Diamond is slated to receive a $70 million upfront payment and up to $710 million in potential milestone payments. Approximately 19% of the stock’s float is sold short.
