On Tuesday morning, the Financial Times reported that Alphabet will be purchasing the company for $32 billion, with the acquisition announcement expected to take place on Tuesday morning. Trading higher as a group following XPeng’s Q4 2024 earnings report. Adjusted losses of 1.47 yuan per share exceeded the expected loss of 1.35 yuan, but sales of 16.11 billion yuan beat estimates of 16.02 billion yuan. XPeng guided 91,000 to 93,000 deliveries for Q1 2025, marking 317% to 327% year-over-year growth, and projected stronger-than-expected quarterly revenue.
