In The News
Tesla Inc (TSLA)
+1.60%
Trading higher premarket after the South China Morning Post reported that the company is ramping up production of its updated Model Y in China. Tesla has also introduced interest-free loans to boost sales ahead of its Q1 delivery report, expected to be released this week. While Tesla faces declining sales in key European markets, analysts estimate it delivered around 373,000 vehicles in Q1.
Crypto Stocks
+3.04%
Trading higher as a group in tandem with early strength in Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency closed marginally higher on Monday, breaking a three-day losing streak, and has already eclipsed Monday’s highs near $83,900 as of Tuesday morning. Ethereum is also pushing higher to trade above the $1850 level as of 7:10 AM ET.
COIN, MSTR, MARA, RIOT, IBIT, ETHE, HUT, CLSK, IREN, CAN, HIVE
Microsoft Corp (MSFT)
-0.31%
On watch after WestPark Capital initiated coverage on the stock with a Hold rating. On Monday, Microsoft-backed OpenAI announced that it has closed a record-breaking $40 billion funding round, raising its valuation to $300 billion. Microsoft was among the major investors in the round, along with SoftBank.
Newsmax Inc (NMAX)
+18.49%
Gapping up after its IPO, which saw the stock surge by more than $700. The offering was priced at $10 and the stock opened at $14, rallying throughout the session to close above $83. Newsmax experienced heightened volatility throughout Monday’s session and halted several times throughout the day.
Amazon.com Inc (AMZN)
-0.66%
On watch after WestPark Capital initiated coverage of the stock. The firm assigned Amazon a Buy rating with a $280 price target.
Airline Stocks
-0.96%
Trading lower as a group after Jefferies issued a negative note on the sector. The analyst downgraded American Airlines and Delta to Hold while cutting Southwest to Underperform, though United remains a Buy. Jefferies attributed the downgrades to softening revenue trends, lower-than-expected business travel demand, and potential EPS downside for airlines in 2025.
AAL, DAL, LUV, UAL
Micron Technology Inc (MU)
+1.28%
Trading higher premarket after Citigroup issued a positive note on the stock, maintaining its Buy rating and $120 price target. The analyst highlighted an updated forecast from market research firm TrendForce, which now expects Q2 DRAM prices to remain flat instead of declining. Citigroup also noted that TrendForce expects Q3 prices to rise 8%-13% quarter-over-quarter.
Intel Corp (INTC)
-1.72%
On watch after Lip-Bu Tan made his first speech as the company’s CEO at a conference on Monday. Tan outlined plans for a cultural overhaul, which would include cutting bureaucracy, recruiting top talent, and strengthening customer relationships to drive innovation. He also signaled potential support from the Trump administration as Intel aims to regain leadership in semiconductor manufacturing and expand its foundry business.
GameStop Corp (GME)
+1.92%
Trading higher premarket with no apparent news catalyst. The stock has seen another influx of retail attention following its earnings report last week, during which it announced that its board approved plans to include Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset. The announcement led the stock to rally on Wednesday, March 26, but GameStop plunged on the following day after announcing a $1.3 billion convertible senior note offering.
Tempus AI, CoreWeave, and Robinhood Markets
+0.33%
All three tickers are trading marginally higher with notable premarket volume after share purchases from Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest on Monday. Ark purchased 98,159 shares of CoreWeave, which made its Nasdaq debut on Friday, valuing the transaction at roughly $3.64 million. The firm also picked up 50,271 shares of Tempus AI for roughly $2.4 million and added 31,731 shares of Robinhood for approximately $1.32 million.
TEM, CRWV, HOOD
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)
-3.80%
Trading sharply lower premarket after a U.S. bankruptcy judge rejected the company’s $10 billion plan to settle talc-related lawsuits, marking Johnson & Johnson’s third failed attempt to resolve the claims through bankruptcy. The judge ruled that J&J did not belong in bankruptcy and lacked sufficient support from plaintiffs in the talc cases.
iCoreConnect Inc (ICCT)
+40.62%
Gapping up on no apparent news catalyst. The stock, which rallied on Monday, has a float of 1.07 million shares.
