Gapping up after its Q3 2026 earnings report, with revenue of $15.8 billion and adjusted earnings of $1.06 per share beating estimates of $15.54 billion and $1.04, respectively. Product orders grew by 35% year-over-year, with networking product orders growing by 50%. The company projected FY 2026 revenue between $62.8 billion and $63 billion, outpacing estimates of $61.6 billion; its Q4 2026 revenue outlook of $16.7 billion-$16.9 billion similarly outpaced estimates of $15.82 billion. Cisco also announced that it is reducing its workforce by less than 5%.

Reuters reported that the US has approved approximately 10 China companies - including Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and JD.com - to purchase NVIDIA H200 chips. Lenovo and Foxconn have reportedly been authorized to act as distributors. However, no shipments have occurred yet because regulatory scrutiny from Beijing has delayed the transactions. Separately, UBS hiked its price target on the stock from $245 to $275 ahead of the company’s earnings report next Wednesday (May 20).

The company is set to make its debut on the Nasdaq via initial public offering on Thursday, May 14. According to a statement released on Wednesday, AI chipmaker Cerebras raised $5.5 billion through the IPO. The IPO has been priced at $185 per share, above the expected range of $150-$160 per share.

According to a report from Wired, the company has pressured at least 1,000 of its engineers to join a new unit focused on “Applied AI Engineering”. If employees refused to transfer to the new unit, they reportedly risked being laid off. This update comes ahead of Meta’s previously-reported 10% workforce reduction, set to take place on May 20.

Reuters reported that the company is evaluating partnerships and investments in AI startups as it seeks to reduce its reliance on OpenAI for cutting-edge models and products. The company considered acquiring Cursor but stepped back over potential regulatory issues related to GitHub Copilot. Microsoft is also reportedly in discussions with Inception Labs after its venture arm M12 participated in the startup’s $50 million seed funding round.

Reuters reported that the company raised its forecast for the global semiconductor market to more than $1.5 trillion by 2030, up from its prior $1 trillion estimate, citing accelerating demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. AI and HPC are expected to make up 55% of the market.

Revenue grew by 5% year-over-year to $145.5 million, beating estimates of $144.07 million, but adjusted earnings of $0.26 per share missed estimates of $0.28. Free cash flow grew by 11% to $107.3 million. The company projected FY 2027 revenue between $664 million and $676 million, above estimates of $643.6 million, and guided Q1 2027 revenue between $151 million and $152 million.

Gapping up after reporting positive Phase 2 results for diranersen, its experimental Alzheimer's disease treatment targeting tau protein. The results showed significant reductions in tau pathology and evidence of slower cognitive decline across all tested doses. Although the study missed its primary dose-response endpoint, Biogen plans to advance diranersen into late-stage registrational development.

The company re-affirmed its prior revenue and expenses guides for FY 2026.

Adjusted EBITDA grew by 50% year-over-year to $72.1 million, and adjusted EBITDA margin expanded by 400 basis points to 16%. The company reiterated its previously-issued gross merchandise sales outlook of $9.9 billion-$10.1 billion for FY 2026.
