A variety of companies in this space have a presence at Computex 2025, which runs until Friday, May 23. In an interview after his keynote at the event, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described restrictions to China as counterproductive, revealing the company forfeited $15 billion in sales and wrote off $5.5 billion in inventory due to the bans. He praised Chinese AI researchers as "world-class" and warned that excluding U.S. firms from China’s growing AI market undermines America’s economic and technological leadership.

On watch after supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote that Amazon is likely developing a large-sized foldable device, though the project is still in its early internal stages. If development stays on track, Amazon’s foldable could enter mass production by late 2026 or 2027, ahead of Apple’s 18.8-inch foldable device expected around 2027 or 2028. Apple already faces competition from Chinese rival Huawei in this space.

Shares of Chinese EV battery giant CATL, a noteworthy Tesla supplier, soared 12.5% in their Hong Kong debut after raising $4.6 billion in the year’s largest listing. CATL, which holds a 38% global EV battery market share, plans to use the funds to build a factory in Hungary. Separately, Morgan Stanley maintained an Overweight rating and $410 price target for Tesla’s stock but warned that EV competition from China remains a threat despite US tariffs.

Through the partnership, Divergent’s advanced manufacturing system, DAPS, will be integrated into Palantir’s software platforms, Warp Speed and Foundry. This collaboration enables customers to detect supply chain vulnerabilities in real time and respond with on-demand production of critical parts through Divergent’s digital manufacturing capabilities.

On watch as a group after the US Senate advanced the bipartisan GENIUS Act, a landmark cryptocurrency regulation bill focused on stablecoins, with a 66-32 procedural vote. Bitcoin is trading just above the $105,000 level as of Tuesday morning around 7:30 AM ET. Separately, Coinbase is trading higher after its chief legal officer confirmed that the U.S. Department of Justice has launched an investigation into a recent cybersecurity breach, but clarified that the probe targets the perpetrators of the breach and not Coinbase itself.

The company announced that it has secured exclusive global rights (excluding China) to 3SBio’s bispecific antibody SSGJ-707 in a deal worth up to $6 billion, including a $1.25 billion upfront payment and a $100 million equity investment. The agreement grants Pfizer manufacturing and commercialization rights outside China, with potential royalties to 3SBio. The drug is advancing through clinical trials focusing on various cancers.

Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest disclosed transactions involving both stocks after the bell on Monday. The firm sold 101,251 shares in Meta through its ARKK and ARKW ETFs for a transaction valued at roughly $6.5 million. Meanwhile, Ark added 197,776 shares of Taiwan Semiconductor across both the aforementioned ETFs for a transaction valued at approximately $38.3 million. Ark Invest also sold shares of Block and CoreWeave while adding shares of GitLab.

Sales grew by 11.6% to reach $13.98 million, compared to $12.52 million in the prior year, with robotaxi revenue growing by 200% on a year-over-year basis.
