Overall revenue grew by 39% on a year-over-year basis amid growth in all three revenue categories. The company raised its FY25 sales guidance to $3.89-$3.9 billion, above estimates of $3.75 billion, and guided better-than-expected Q2 sales.

The company’s sales in Germany dropped by 45.9% year-over-year in April, with year-to-date sales falling by 60.4% to 5,820 units. This decline contrasts with a 53.5% year-over-year increase in overall electric vehicle registrations in Germany, according to the KBA. Additionally, Electrek reported that the company is holding over 10,000 Cybertrucks—worth more than $800 million—in U.S. inventory amid declining sales and an aging vehicle lineup.

The U.S. Department of Justice has proposed that Google divest its AdX ad marketplace and DFP ad-serving platform after a federal judge ruled it illegally monopolized two ad-tech markets. The DOJ argues these divestitures are necessary to restore competition, marking another major antitrust setback for Google following a similar ruling in its search business.
