Trading sharply lower as a group after Axios reported that the US and Iran are close to a one-page, 14-point framework to end the war, which would trigger a 30-day negotiation period to finalize a broader agreement. The draft includes a pause on Iran’s nuclear enrichment, phased sanctions relief, release of frozen funds, and easing restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz. A final deal has yet to be reached. On Wednesday morning, US President Donald Trump said that Operation Epic Fury and the US blockade on the Strait of Hormuz will end should Iran “give what has been agreed to”.

Overall revenue grew by 38% year-over-year, while data center revenue expanded by 57% to $5.8 billion. Adjusted gross margin came in at 55%, narrowly missing estimates of 55.06%. The company guided $11.2 billion in Q2 2026 revenue, plus or minus $300 million, which implies 46% year-over-year growth; analysts were looking for $10.52 billion.

Gapping up after announcing a multiyear partnership with Nvidia to expand US-based optical connectivity manufacturing for AI data centers. Corning plans to increase optical connectivity capacity by 10x, boost fiber capacity by over 50%, and build three new plants in North Carolina and Texas, creating more than 3,000 jobs. Nvidia is also trading higher premarket following the announcement.

Deals involving Anthropic and OpenAI now make up over half of the roughly $2 trillion backlog across major cloud providers, underscoring massive AI-driven demand.

On watch after the Financial Times reported that the company is developing a highly personalized AI assistant, powered by its Muse Spark model, to handle everyday tasks for users as it ramps up agentic AI efforts. The tool, which is currently in internal testing, is aimed at creating an OpenClaw-like experience. The Information later reported that the company is working on a consumer AI agent, internally called “Hatch”, that is modelled after OpenClaw.

Disney reported $25.17 billion in revenue alongside adjusted earnings of $1.57 per share, beating estimates of $24.87 billion and $1.51, respectively. Entertainment revenue grew by 9.7% year-over-year, Sports revenue grew by 1.7%, and experiences revenue improved by 6.7%. Net income attributable to the company declined by 31.4% year-over-year to $2.25 billion.

The company posted $15.2 billion in net sales for Q1 2026, beating estimates of $11.2 billion, with gross margin of 85.9% outpacing expectations of 81.3%. Ozempic revenue of $4.4 billion beat estimates of $4.1 billion, and sales of the Wegovy pill came in at a better-than-expected $354 million. Novo Nordisk now expects FY 2026 sales to decline by 4% to 12% year-over-year, slightly better than its prior guidance, which implied that sales would decline by 5% to 13%.
