Trading lower premarket after the U.S. Department of Justice proposed that Google divest its Chrome browser and share search data to dismantle its monopoly in online search, in addition to facing stricter regulations for up to a decade. These measures, which also include a possible sale of Android if necessary, aim to curb Google’s dominance in the U.S. search market. The company has argued that such steps would harm consumers and businesses.

Trading higher premarket after submitting its Nasdaq compliance plan. The company, which has delayed filing its reports for fiscal 2024 and Q1 2025, noted that it believes it can file the necessary reports to regain Nasdaq compliance within an extension period.
