In The News
NVIDIA Corp (NVDA)
-1.87%
Continuing to trade lower after a significant drop on Tuesday that saw the stock lose $279 billion in market cap, the largest one-day market cap loss in the history of the U.S. stock market. On Tuesday evening, Bloomberg reported that a previously-reported U.S. Department of Justice subpoena has deepened a probe into the company's antitrust practices. Concerns focus on Nvidia potentially limiting competition by penalizing buyers who don't exclusively use its AI chips.

Strier previously served as Nvidia’s vice president of worldwide AI initiatives and is also a member of a variety of AI-related policy and advisory boards across the globe.
Crypto Stocks
-2.94%
Trading lower as a group amid continued weakness in Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency, which last breached the $60,000 level on Thursday, August 29, was trading just above $56,500 as of Wednesday morning. Ethereum, meanwhile, dropped by 4% as of Wednesday before the bell to trade near the $2,400 level.

On watch after the UK's Competition and Markets Authority cleared Microsoft's acquisition of Inflection AI's staff and partnership, stating no deeper investigation was necessary.
